IT'S IN THE DETAILS

Our Design

After carefully selecting each component and design feature, we are pretty happy with the result. You will be too.

GATES

Belt Driven

Let start with the best feature: Step into the future with the tougher, longer lasting, lower maintenance belt drive bike. We've paired an extra durable steel CDX rear cog with the urban CDN front chainring to give you a drivetrain that will outlast any standard bike chain.

UPGRADED RIMS AND SPOKES

Stronger Wheels

We've doubled down on wheel strength. Our rims are double walled, not singled like a lot of other cruisers out there; and we've upgraded the spokes to a thicker 13 gauge stainless steel. You can ride a Cypre knowing that extra weight, like groceries or your new surfboard, is going to be well supported!

SEALED BEARINGS

A Better Front Hub

In addition to the stronger wheels, we've added sealed bearings in the front hub for extra durability and seriously smooth spinning.

LAIDBACK COMFORT

Our Pedal Forward Design

It's the little details that make a good bike a great bike. We've set the seat tube angle at 70 degrees and then added this little curve to move the pedals slightly forward. The result is the most comfortable cruiser we've ever owned. Easy to pedal, and when you add in our lightweight aluminum frame, it feels fast too!

WORRY FREE

Puncture Resistant Tires

You can ride worry free with CST puncture resistant tires. A layer of light, flexible rubber containing puncture resistant magic sits under the tread of this tire. Smooth rolling and efficient, but enough tread to handle both light gravel and beach travel.

DING DING

Durable lock-on Grips & a Bell

Here are a couple of "little things" that actually mean a lot. Decent grips are important, and nothing is better than a lock-on. They stay in place and easy to change if you want to customize. And, our old friend, the bell. A must these days to help keep you and others safe.

BETTER MATERIALS

Aluminum Everywhere

We've chosen aluminum for as many components as possible: frame, bars, stem, headset, brake, rims, crank, pedals, kickstand. Not only does this make the bike low rust, it's likely to be the lightest cruiser you've ever owned.
